Remove the top plate, plug in your Sync-it device via a mini USB cable, then click "Connect & Upload".
Make sure no other apps (like Serial Monitor) are using the port, select 'CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller'
or FT230X Basic UART (cu.usbserial-D307L2TO)
If you don't see the 'CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller', download the Silabs drivers from here:
Silabs Virtual Com port driver
Read or update the 4 lines shown on the unit startup screen (max 12 printable ASCII characters per line)
